| For those of you who may not have heard yet, Luke had his appendix
taken out last night. It seems this is an epidemic, starting with Billy
Vennart (Jen Holt's fiance) last week, Matthew Hermanson on Wednesday,
and now this. Ashley had great reason to think I was playing a joke on
her when I called to tell her.
Anyway, I'm on a break from hospital duty. Hillary and Sara Babler
spent the night with me there. Thanks to everybody who prayed,
expressed concern, helped out, or all of the above. It means so much to
Luke to know so many people care about him. His parents came up about
an hour ago, so I'm taking the opportunity to shower, eat, and try to
sleep.
*Edit: Luke has been home from the hospital since about 6pm tonight.
Just barely less than 24 hours since we arrived in the ER. Now for the
recovery...
